1. How long will it take to drive to Amani Beach Hotel?
It takes on average one and a half hours to reach Amani Beach Hotel from the ferry in Dar es Salaam. It can be quicker or slightly longer depending on the amount of traffic at the ferry so it is best to leave a little extra time and to pack plenty of water in the car.

5. Can I come and visit for the day?

As a small boutique hotel, we pride ourselves on the peaceful and intimate service offered to our resident guests and therefore restrict the number of day visitors for the enjoyment of all. 8. When are the turtles hatching?
Turtle hatching season is from April to June and from November to January. During this time, hatchings are frequent but we never know exactly when until one or maybe two days before. The best way to find out is to subscribe to our blog where we will post turtle hatching updates or to call us a day or so before your visit. You can read more about the turtle hatching on our website or through our local partners Sea Sense at www.seassense.org.
